# Get a conversation with its messages and turns

GET https://api.bctrl.ai/v1/conversations/{conversationId}

Get a conversation with its durable messages and turns.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Use Bearer \<api-key>.

## Request

### Path parameters

- `conversationId` (string, required) — Unique conversation identifier generated by BCTRL.

### Query parameters

- `messageCursor` (string, optional)
- `messageLimit` (integer, optional, default: 50)

### Headers

- `BCTRL-Subaccount-Id` (string, optional) — Optional effective subaccount context for organization API keys. Subaccount API keys are already scoped and cannot use this header to act as another subaccount.
